The Adventure

Hey Ken, we arrived in Orlando the night before last and drove North to St. Augustine immediately after arriving.  Yesterday we made our way down to the airport.  Being a Sunday, things were pretty quiet and the place was nearly deserted, but we had arranged in advance to meet Craig Fordem in the morning.  Craig is an instructor with about 8000 hours of time on the Extra, more than anyone else in North America.  He trains the Chilean Air Force demonstration team (the Halcones) and does upset/spin training for the American Navy and Army.  I’d done a fair bit of spin training with Craig before and was looking forward to flying with him again.  We got one flight in, had lunch and then the thunderstorms showed up, which kept us on the ground for the rest of the day.  Brandon
